December is Impaired Driving Prevention Month

Better Brodhead partnered with the Brodhead Police Department to create this Public Safety Message in efforts to support Impaired Driving Prevention Month and the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign. You will hear some alarming impaired driving statistics specific to Wisconsin, along with ways in which you can help prevent drunk or buzzed driving this holiday season. We encourage you to take 3 minutes out of your day to watch this valuable message by clicking here. We hope you and your loved ones have a safe and healthy holiday!

Stigma Reduction

Reducing Stigma

Just like with physical illnesses, our emotional and mental health needs time to heal. Let’s help each other by recognizing that sometimes we can’t heal by ourselves and there is no shame in asking for help. We encourage everyone to break down the barriers that prevent people from seeking professional help when needed! Click here to watch this short educational video!

Good Drugs Gone Bad Presentation

Our Community Service Coordinator, Megan, teamed up with Brodhead Police Department’s Officer Bennett, to create, present and record a presentation about teen prescription drug abuse. During this recorded presentation, you will hear about prescription drugs being abused, how to tell the signs of drug abuse, and efforts that you can take in order to help prevent prescription drug abuse. Click here to watch the recording.

Diversity, Inclusion & Privilege Webinar

This workshop facilitated by Santa Carfora provides an opportunity to become more aware, more respectful and more inclusive. To watch a recording of the training click here.
