Take Care of Your Selfie Campaign

Take Care of Your Selfie campaign

Better Brodhead’s Youth 2 Youth (Y2Y) hosted a Take Care of Your Selfie Campaign on September 25-29, 2017, during Brodhead High School’s homecoming week.

The purpose of this campaign was to engage the youth and raise awareness to promote youth making healthy decisions.

Y2Y members displayed “Be the Majority” posters throughout Brodhead High School with different Selfie messages: Take Care of Your Selfie; Respect Your Selfie; Make Decisions for Your Selfie; Trust Your Selfie; and Respect Other Selfies. Y2Y members helped create the posters showing local youth with the selfie messages.

As part of their Take Care of Your Selfie Campaign, Y2Y members hosted a resource table at the tailgate for the game on Friday, September 30 and handed out drug prevention information. A Snapchat poster frame was used to photograph students and promote their “Be the Majority” message through social media.
